RWANDA’S RICH TOURISM OFFERINGS SHOWCASED AT THE TRAVEL & TOURISM – TT WARSAW EXPO 2025 IN POLAND
From 10th to 12th October 2025, visitors to the Travel and Tourism – TT Warsaw Expo, held at PTAK Warsaw Expo Center, had the opportunity to experience Rwanda’s rich and diverse tourism offerings.
The official opening ceremony featured remarks by Mr. Tomasz Szpula, President of PTAK Warsaw Expo; Mr. Ireneusz Raś, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Sport and Culture; H.E. Prof. Anastase SHYAKA, Ambassador of Rwanda to Poland; and H.E. Amirsaid Agzamkhodjaev, Ambassador of Uzbekistan. Their speeches underscored the vital role of tourism in fostering diplomacy and driving socio-economic growth.
Invited as a Partner Country, Rwanda was represented by eight (8) Rwandan tour operators and two officials from the Rwanda Development Board (RDB): Ariella KAGERUKA, Head of the Tourism Department, and Claudine RUBAGUMYA, Tourism Product Development Analyst.
Throughout the event, visitors were captivated by traditional Rwandan dances performed by Ballet Icyeza Polska and enjoyed the authentic taste of Rwandan coffee. The Expo concluded with closing remarks from Mr. Kazimierz Ćwikła, Senior Vice President of PTAK Warsaw Expo, and Ambassador SHYAKA, who expressed appreciation for the fruitful collaboration and Rwanda’s successful participation.
