RWANDA’S RENOWNED COFFEE AND TEA SHOWCASED AT EUROPE COFFEE EXPO – PTAK WARSAW EXPO

From 27–29 May 2025, Rwandan coffee and tea companies participated in the “Coffee Europe Expo – Coffee, Equipment & Accessories Trade Fair” held in Warsaw, Poland, and organized by PTAK Warsaw Expo. The event brought together numerous exhibitors from around the world in the coffee industry to showcase a wide range of products, including coffee, equipment, and accessories.

Rwanda was honored with the prestigious status of Partner Country, which provided an exceptional platform for Rwandan companies to exhibit their high-quality coffee and tea products, while also engaging with international stakeholders from the global coffee sector. Rwandan exhibitors included BAHO Coffee Company, RIXU Coffee, Stafford Coffee Brewers, and Rwanda Mountain Coffee. During the event, they also extended invitations to their international counterparts to participate in the Africa Coffee and Tea Expo 2025, scheduled to take place in Kigali in July 2025.

At the official opening ceremony and the evening gala hosted by PTAK Warsaw Expo, Mr. Tomasz Szypuła, Chairman of the Board of PTAK Warsaw Expo, reaffirmed the PTAK Warsaw Expo commitment to fostering stronger ties between Rwandan, Polish, and broader European businesses. Ambassador Prof. Anastase Shyaka also delivered remarks, expressing appreciation to the National Agricultural Export Development Board (NAEB) and the participating Rwandan companies for their significant contributions to Rwanda’s successful participation in the event. He emphasized that private sector engagement will play a crucial role in advancing economic cooperation between Rwanda and Poland.

As the first-ever participation of Rwandan companies in an expo in Poland, the event illuminated new opportunities for economic collaboration between Rwandan businesses and their counterparts in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe.
