On 29^th October 2025, Ambassador Prof. Anastase SHYAKA participated in the official opening of the Polish–Africa Economic Conference titled “Four Dimensions of Africa”, held in Warsaw. The event was organized by Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK) and the Polish Export Credit Insurance Corporation (KUKE), both of which are implementing a project in Rwanda’s agriculture sector.

The opening ceremony was graced by Hon. Wojciech Zajączkowski, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland, H.E. Nomvule Mngomezulu, Ambassador of South Africa to Poland, and H.E. Prof. Anastase SHYAKA, Ambassador of Rwanda.

Following the opening, Ambassador SHYAKA took part in the African Ambassadors’ Panel, which discussed the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) as one of the landmark initiatives of the African Union (AU) reforms spearheaded by H.E. Paul Kagame, President of Rwanda. The panel highlighted how the AfCFTA presents vast opportunities and a solid foundation for Polish businesses seeking to invest and expand across the African continent.
