On 28th October 2025, Ambassador Prof. Anastase SHYAKA paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Wojciech Zajączkowski, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland. The two officials discussed ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation between Rwanda and Poland across various sectors.

Hon. Wojciech warmly welcomed Ambassador SHYAKA and commended the positive trajectory of Rwanda–Poland relations. He expressed appreciation for Rwanda’s leadership and remarkable progress in socio-economic development, reaffirming Poland’s interest in deepening collaboration in areas of mutual benefit.

Ambassador SHYAKA congratulated Hon. Wojciech on his appointment as the Secretary of State and commended the Ministry for its continued commitment to promoting effective bilateral cooperation, particularly in the fields of education and economic development.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining close engagement and follow-up to ensure the successful implementation and expansion of existing and new cooperation frameworks.
