On 22^nd January 2025, Prof. Anastase Shyaka, the Ambassador of the Republic of Rwanda to the Republic of Poland, hosted the first Diplomatic Prayer Breakfast of the year at his residence in Warsaw. This monthly event, held on a rotational basis among members of the Christian diplomatic community, provides a platform for fostering dialogue, strengthening friendships, and promoting collaboration through Bible readings and reflections on Godly and spiritual values in diplomatic practice.

The gathering brought together 10 envoys representing their countries in Poland. Attendees included H.E. Archbp. Antonio Guido Filipazzi (Holy See)-Dean of Diplomatic Corps; H.E. Andrea Elscheková-Matisová (Slovakia); H.E. Fabrice Filliez (Switzerland); H.E. Alicia Falkowski (Argentina); H.E. Assad Jater (Colombia); H.E. Juan Sandoval (Mexico); H.E. Bojan Pograjc (Slovenia); and H.E. Niels Lorijn (Order of Malta). Also present was an associate member of the group, Amb. Prof.Tomasz Łukaszuk, former Envoy of Poland in India.

The event offered an opportunity to share a taste of Rwanda, particularly its renowned coffee and tea, with the distinguished guests.
