AMBASSADOR OF RWANDA IN POLAND DISCUSSED RWANDA AND AFRICA TRENDS WITH POLITICAL DEPARTMENT AT ŁÓDŹ UNIVERSITY
On 11th December 2024, the Ambassador of the Republic of Rwanda to the Republic of Poland, Prof. Anastase Shyaka, visited Łódź Region and delivered a public lecture to students in the Faculty of International and Political Studies on Rwanda-Poland relations at Łódź University.
The lecture focused on aspects of political, economic and education diplomacy and highlighted potential future Rwanda-Poland collaborations aligned with Rwanda’s National Strategy for Transformation II (NST2). Students also engaged with the Ambassador on political dynamics in the Great Lakes region, including the current state of Rwanda-DRC relations.

Before the lecture, Ambassador held discussions with the Rector of the University of Łódź, Prof. Dr. Hab. Rafał Matera, vice rector and members of the university's management team to explore areas of cooperation in education.
Later on, the Ambassador and his delegation had the occasion to meet and discuss with members of the Rwandan Community Abroad (RCA) in Łódź, including students from Lodz University who had attended the lecture.
